Delete my data

Burrito doesn't have user accounts — but you're never stuck with your data either. Here's exactly what "Delete My Data" erases, and how to trigger it.

Terms of Use Privacy Policy Delete my data

This erasure is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active Burrito Premium subscription, deleting your data does not cancel it — cancel it separately in your device's Settings to stop future billing.

Two ways to erase your data

The in-app method is instant. The email request stays available if you no longer have the app installed.

Recommended

From the app

  1. 1 Open the Profile tab.
  2. 2 Tap "Delete My Data".
  3. 3 Confirm. Your session and server-side data are erased immediately — you need an internet connection for this step.
Alternative

By email

No account means we can't look you up by email — but if you no longer have the app, we can still act on a request. We confirm erasure within 30 days.

Erased permanently

  • Your anonymous device session
  • Any online room history tied to that session
  • Display names, votes and scores you've recorded
  • Local app progress and settings

Kept (legal obligation)

  • Apple's own subscription and payment records
  • Anonymized security logs

Kept only for the legally required accounting and security retention period, then deleted. Never used for any other purpose.

A right guaranteed by GDPR

This erasure corresponds to your right to erasure (GDPR Article 17). A question before you go? Write to [email protected] — we're happy to help.
